Meet The Amigos!
Matt
Matt loves music and is usually heard singing along at the top of his lungs.
He also loves to look at newspapers to see what holiday is coming soon – by looking at the decorated cakes in the ads.
His laughter often rolls through our home as he and his “brothers of the heart” share fun times together. He loves to connect with people and communicates from the heart.
Eric
Eric loves to walk in our neighborhood in the shadow of the majestic mountains around us. He also enjoys swimming in the summer, skiing in the winter, and sharing laughs with friends.
Eric has mastered horsemanship and helps groom the horses when he rides at the Alatheia Therapeutic Riding Center.
He's a faithful assembler and hardworking helper, daily carrying heavy boxes to restock supplies for the local jump rope company where he has worked for many years.
Christopher
Christopher is a quiet and thoughtful man who loves living at The Dwelling Place. He is especially connected to staff persons who he calls his “other family.” He loves to make jump ropes with show tunes playing in the background, and keeps up on sports in all seasons.
Christopher is a “Steady Eddie” kind of guy who loves routine and seeing what's next on the calendar. He also enjoys all the sports teams he shares with friends in our community.
Alex
Alex loves being busy with his many jobs around town. He’s proud of his collection of shirts that prominently display the company logos of each business where he works. Belonging and contributing to a community are such an important part of everyone’s life!
Alex also enjoys making beautifully colored artwork during his relaxing time. Alex is a great friend to all of his “brothers” at The Dwelling Place and has a tender heart.
Chris
Chris enjoys his job as a dishwasher at our local hospital, sharing his smiles daily with the people who serve our community. He also likes to work out at the gym, chat with people along the way, and participate in many seasonal activities throughout the year, such as ice skating and cycling. He especially enjoys going to plays and being an actor each summer in our local theater group.
